Seeking students and Sponsors to bring Susie Solomon to the Great Northwest!

Susie brings a world of experience to her dressage practice and it is a rare opportunity to have her with us She has a well-rounded background with a VERY long resume! From breaking wild horses, including her beloved and magnificent stallion Ulrik, to riding at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna . Susie has been a student of the late Major Hector Carmona, Karl Milkolka, and Michael Paulin as well as working with Ray Hunt and the Dorrance brothers on several ranches in the West. Her friend Sarah Standifer, who was a student of the late Nuno Oliveria for over 12 years, has shown her the path to lightness and harmony which she now comes to share with us. She is as comfortable working cattle and trail riding as she is studying with Jean Louis Lombard, master of the French school, and a Baucher equitation rider.

"Horses know more than we do and if we ask and then listen to them - they will show us. I ask less and the horses always give me more. I also know that there is so much more than just the arena for knowledge."

Susie is happy to work with all horses in equitation with a firm belief that it is the rider that brings out the horse's ability, not the breed. This is an opportunity not to be missed! I would like to bring Susie to Washington on a regular basis so let's all come out to support her travels. Susie makes a personal guarantee that you will improve your confidence, poise, and the power in your seat within three lessons.
